Samsung ChatOn Messaging Service Gets A New Life

Every Samsung smart-phone owner is familiar with “ChatOn” application which is very much similar as “BBM” in Black Berry handsets.

The so called chat messenger application is as useless as a broken torch in a dark night, in a world where WhatsApp has more users than Facebook & twitter the application form Samsung is just a default application and taken as not-to-touch-icon in the phone by Samsung users.

In the mean time the smart-phone giant announces an update for ChatOn that adds some new features like SMS and MMS integration with messenger service. The update is only for Samsung devices running on Android 4.0 and above and available on the Play Store and on Samsung Apps for download.

Now the update enables integration of text messages with ChatOn mobile application and users can see them with their chat history. The text view is optional and users can go with both options whether the SMS & MMS are integrated with mess anger service or not.

The sad part is that the new update is only available in Brazil and Germany and promised to make it available for rest on the users very soon.

Samsung also told that the new update is working very smoothly with flag-ship devices like Samsung Note II, Note 3, Galaxy S III and S4.

Facts about Samsung ChatOn Messaging Service:
  • More than 100 million users
  • Available in 237 countries
  • Supports 63 languages
